The best way to give your patio a thorough clean is to move the furniture, potted plants, BBQ grill, and any other outside items. Grab your broom and sweep the entire area, then spray it down with the hose. If it is especially dirty, scrub it with a push broom and warm soapy water, but be careful not to remove any paint from the concrete or pavers. Outdoor furniture and cousins can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Make sure to let everything dry thoroughly before putting them back together. 

Next, move on to the screens. The best way to remove dust, pollen, and debris is to vacuum your screens from top to bottom. Next, use a soft-bristled brush, warm water, and a dash of dish soap to scrub the screen clean gently. Immediately rinse the areas with the hose. Repeat if needed.

Auto polish can be used on metal frames to give them a vibrant shine. When cleaning windows, doors, glass tables, and outdoor lanterns, use glass cleaner and newspaper. When cleaning the grill and stainless steel parts, use degreasing agents to help melt away the soot, grease, and grime. Don't forget to open your patio umbrella and wash the inside and outside with mild soap and water.
